Video walkthrough: Using your Sutton supplier portal
Watch this video to learn how to navigate your portal, place a sales order request, and track your shipments.
Get to know your portal
Your portal link is unique to your company. When you open it, you land on the main portal view. You can bookmark the link to return anytime.
Depending on what has been set up for you, you may see some or all of these tabs:
Items — the products available to you, with prices, available quantities, and any price breaks.
Sales orders — your order history and the option to submit new sales order requests.
Shipments — orders that have shipped, including carrier and tracking details.
Manufacturing orders — manufacturing orders related to your orders.
ℹ️ Note: If you don't see a tab you expected, contact the company that shared your portal link. They control which tabs are turned on for your portal.
Place a sales order request
Open the Sales orders tab.
Click Create sales order request.
Read any ordering instructions shown at the top of the form, such as lead times or order minimums.
Select your Shipping address (required). Then select a Billing address, or check Billing same as shipping to use the same address for both.
Under Request details, enter your Customer PO # if you have one.
In the Items section, click Add items.
Check the box next to each item you want to order, then click Add items. Each row shows the item’s SKU, unit price, and available quantity.
Enter the Quantity for each item. To remove an item, click the remove icon at the end of its row.
Review the Estimated total and Estimated weight at the bottom of the form, then click Submit request.
Your request now appears in the Sales Orders tab with a status of Requested.
ℹ️ Note: The Estimated total and Estimated weight are estimates only. The total doesn’t include taxes or shipping, and the company that shared your portal will confirm final pricing. If your request goes over the maximum order weight, you’ll see a warning, but you can still submit it. The warning lets you both know the order may need more than one shipment.
Track your shipments
Open the Shipments tab to see shipped orders. Each shipment shows the carrier and tracking details so you can follow your order to delivery.
Invalid or expired links
If your portal link shows an error, such as an invalid or expired link, contact the company that shared it with you. They can send you a fresh link in a few clicks.
Your portal is ready to use
You can now browse items, submit sales order requests, and track your shipments in one place, without waiting on emails or phone calls for updates.
If you have questions about your orders, pricing, or portal access, please contact the company that shared your portal link.
