Is this an acquisition or change of ownership?
No. This is a rebrand only. Digit Software is renaming to Sutton, but it remains the same company, the same people, and the same platform. All legal agreements, contracts, and NDAs remain in place with Digit Technologies Inc., which remains the operating legal entity behind the product. This change has no impact on software functionality, data storage, or data security protocols. Your setup, contracts, and data carry over exactly as they are today.
Why did we choose the name Sutton and the new logo?
Why did we choose the name Sutton and the new logo?
Digit felt like a narrow, transactional name for what the platform has grown into, and it was easy to confuse with a similarly named accounting tool. Sutton reflects a simpler, more approachable direction for the company. The new mark, a speech bubble folded into an abstract "S," represents a similar shift in the product itself: from a system you operate to one you can talk with.

Yes. All users will be logged out at least once and required to log back in so that your credentials are updated to match the new website moving forward, but your account will otherwise be unchanged.
Are support or other email addresses changing?

Yes. Over the course of the next few weeks you'll notice the transition from @digit-software.com to @heysutton.com emails coming from our team.
Also, all previous email addresses that you have used to connect with Sutton staff will still work and will be forwarded appropriately. You can update your contact list when you get a chance but don't have to worry about any emails getting lost before then.
